Advance train tickets start selling July 1. As you know, railway advance tickets are being sold on the occasion of Eid. Bangladesh Railways has decided to start selling Eid advance tickets on 10th July, the holy Eid-ul-Azha. Tickets for the 5 days before Eid will go on sale on July 1. The sale of return tickets will start from July 7.

A meeting was held at the railway building regarding the sale of advance train tickets. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Railways. An official of the ministry said that the meeting discussed various issues including ticket black market and reduction of suffering of railway passengers. The meeting was held on 14 June.

It is learned that train tickets for July 5 will be sold on July 1, tickets for July 7 will be sold on July 2, tickets for July 7 will be sold for July 3, tickets for July 7 will be sold for July 4 and tickets for July 9 will be sold on July 5.
On the other hand, return tickets for July 11 will be sold on July 7, tickets for July 12 will be sold on July 7, tickets for July 13 will be sold on July 9 and tickets for July 14 and 15 will be sold on July 11.
