The role
As Divisional Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the overall management and implementation of Plan International Bangladesh’s programmes in the Rangpur Division including child sponsorship management, partnership development, donor reporting, budget monitoring and financial management. With an annual budget of 6.1 million programme portfolio covering Education, MNCH, WASH, Child Protection, SRHR and DRM and 7-10 implementing partners you will be the lead for ensuring the programme quality, inclusion and gender transformative project implementation and donors’ (EU, DFID, USAID, GAC etc.) compliance.

You will ensure the branding and position of Plan and represent the organisation at divisional level for advocating and influencing on Plan’s agenda on girls’ rights and young people’s voice in the decision-making processes that affect their lives.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a ‘to go’ and a passionate leader who has experience in brokering partnership with CSOs, Govt. bodies, and community in implementing gender transformative projects and programme at District and Divisional level. We believe that youth are the drivers of change, so experience working with young people to plan, design and implements projects and programme is essential. Poverty of decision-making and an inability to demand ones rights is driven by an imbalance of power, so you also need proven skills of working with power holders, including governments.
