Job Description / Responsibility
- The job of the Head of IT Division will include but not limited to:
- Lead and guide the Bank’s IT Team/ Committee(s) for analyzing needs of the Division
- Framing the systems requirement, preparing Tender Document and all other relevant works for implementing the CORE Banking System including different delivery channels in the Bank
- Analyze Design & implementing Data Center, DR site, network connectivity etc. for implementing CORE Banking systems
- Analyze and estimate Hardware Requirement for smooth operation of IT Infrastructure of the Bank
- Evaluate the expected Proposals of the Software, Hardware, Network, DC/DR Vendors
- Experience in planning, designing and maintenance of network system, hardware, application, database, storage and security system
- Supervision of whole work & giving completion certificate and liaison with stakeholders & suppliers
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):General Banking, IT/ MIS
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Banks, Computer Hardware/Network Companies, Leasing, Software Company
- Extensive technical and theoretical knowledge on multiplatform system administration
- Must have knowledge on enabling, enhancing and supporting the business functions of any bank by providing innovative technical solutions to business issues and generating MIS
- Extensive experience of implementing CORE Banking system in any bank in Bangladesh
- Updated in the state-of-the art technologies for recommendation of cost-effective solution
- 12+ years’ experience in the IT field with hands on experience in successful implementation of automated transaction system, integration of system and applications with supervision of related support functions in corporate environment out of which at least 6+ years must be in a scheduled Commercial Bank
