Job Description

We are looking for a Front End Developer, who would like to broaden their horizon in the area of WordPress development. He/She will be responsible for assisting the development of themes, incorporating client brand assets and requirements into websites using HTML, CSS, and PHP. They will also be in charge of making changes and tweaks to current live websites, which would include tasks such as:

• Converting wireframes/mockup to HTML, CSS and JS.
• Implementing tracking scripts
• Implementing forms on site by integrating with client CRM systems/scripts
• Gather requirements, determine feasibility and timelines for custom development solutions
• Visual updates on existing sites
• Contributing to “scope of build” conversations and ability to estimate development timelines

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in responsive website design and theme development (required)
• Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Excellent communication skills and fluent command of English
• Have client facing experience which includes coordinating and preplanning.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, fluid operating environment and a willingness to constantly learn
• Academic background in Design or substantial relevant experience
• Willingness to learn PHP
• WordPress experience will be given preference
• Able to create interactive infographics will be given preference
• Ability to work New York hours when needed.
