মালয়েশিয়ায় নতুন করে ১১ লাখ ৩৬ হাজার ২২টি কর্মসংস্থান কোটা অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে। দেশটির উৎপাদন, নির্মাণ, সেবা, আবাদ, কৃষি ও খনন খাতে এই অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে। গত শুক্রবার মালয়েশিয়ার জাতীয় সংসদ দেওয়ান রাকায়াতে প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে এ তথ্য জানান মালয়েশিয়ার মানবসম্পদমন্ত্রী ভি শিবকুমার।
এর মধ্যে চার লাখ ৬৭ হাজার ৫৯০টি কোটা চলতি বছরের ৩ জানুয়ারি থেকে ১৮ মার্চের মধ্যে অনুমোদন দিয়েছে মন্ত্রণালয়।সারা বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে তারা কর্মী নেবে।
এখন পর্যন্ত চার লাখ ২৭ হাজার ৭৫৯ জন নতুন কর্মী নিয়োগের অনুমোদন পেয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। মালয়েশিয়ায় অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশন সূত্রে এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত হওয়া গেছে। এর মধ্যে চলতি মাসের ২ তারিখ পর্যন্ত তিন লাখ ৫৭ হাজার ৩২৮ কর্মীর চাহিদাপত্র সত্যায়ন করেছে হাইকমিশন।আর মালয়েশিয়ায় পৌঁছেছেন এক লাখ ৬৩ হাজার ৪০৩ কর্মী।
এ ছাড়া সত্যায়ন করা এক লাখ ৯৩ হাজার ৯২৫ কর্মী বাংলাদেশ থেকে মালয়েশিয়ায় পৌঁছানোর অপেক্ষায় রয়েছেন। এই ১১ লাখ কর্মীর মধ্যে উৎপাদন খাতে চার লাখ ৬৯ হাজার ১০৬টি, নির্মাণ খাতে তিন লাখ ৫৯ হাজার ৮৯৯টি, সেবা খাতে এক লাখ ৭১ হাজার ৪৯০টি, আবাদে ৮৫ হাজার ৬৭৮টি, কৃষিতে ৪৯ হাজার ৪৭৩টি এবং খনি ও খনন খাতে ৩৭৬টি কোটা অনুমোদন করা হয়েছে।
